Do cats paint? Yes, they do! During May of this year, Volunteers assisted our feline artists-in-residence with painting their MEOW-sterpieces! Paintings will be on exhibit & for sale at various events throughout the year to promote the wonderful cats available for adoption at the Animal Care & Control shelter. All artwork is accompanied with artist bios & photos. Prices range from $5.00 to $25.00. We also have some ceramic tiles donated from Art Space Studio in Rivergate Shopping Center That the cats have painted (with glaze) that was then kiln fired. Hillary, the owner of Art Space Studio, also added a special border around each tile for an extra touch of whimsy. They make great coasters or spoon rests and are a unique & special gift!
